REPRESENTATIONAL/VOTING FORMULA

1. The representational formula is as follows:

            a.  County Commissions get one representative per 50,000 population or increment thereof,

            b.  Cities of over 25,000 (Ocala only) get the same representation that County Commissions have.

            c.  The small cities (less than 25,000) caucus and choose one (1) representative from each county to represent them.

2.  This formula yields the following number of representatives on the Authority as of January 2008:

            a.  Citrus County  - 136,749 population
 
                        1.  Three (3) County Commission representatives
                        2.  One (1) small cities representative

            b.  Hernando County  - 157,006 population

                        1.  Four (4) County Commission representatives
                        2.  One (1) small cities representative

            c.  City of Ocala  - 51,853 population

                        1.  Two (2) large city representatives
           
            d.  Sumter County  - 82,599 population

                        1.  Two (2) County Commission representatives
                        2.  One (1) small cities representative
